The Duchess of Cornwall has shaken off jet lag to join the Prime Minister's wife in a scratch game of table tennis at the Commonwealth Games athletes' village.

Prince Charles and wife Camilla toured the village on Thursday with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife, Lucy, on the second day of their Queensland visit.
Despite being accused of looking bored during the opening ceremony, which Games bosses attributed to jet lag, Camilla was only too keen to partner with Ms Turnbull for a quick match against Australian boxers Caitlin Parker and Anja Stridsman.
"That was a lot of fun," Ms Parker said.
The duchess then tried her hand at pool while Prince Charles took up a table tennis bat against a young athlete from Tuvalu.
Prince Charles wore a light grey suit, while Camilla wore a pink knee-length top, white pants and white scarf, and showed her fun side while posing for a photo with a statue of Games mascot Borobi.
"Should I give him a pat?" she asked, before gripping the paw of the blue koala.
Prince Charles spoke with volunteers, praising their hard work, while Camilla accepted soft toy koalas, which she clipped to her scarf.
The royals visited the dining hall, stopping for photos with the English women's hockey team, before sampling a fruit platter with Mr Beattie, the Turnbulls and Commonwealth Games Federation president Louise Martin.
The couple went to a prosthetics workshop, where wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs will be repaired, meeting with para-athletes and Australian chef de mission Steve Moneghetti.
"Is this where you come for a new knee or hip?" the prince quipped, in a timely comment following his father Prince Philip's hip operation.
Mr Turnbull said his new grandson had received the royal tick of approval after he shared pictures with the visiting monarchs while they watched the opening ceremony on Wednesday night.
"She [Camilla] and the prince both thought he looked terrific so I have passed that onto my son and his wife in Singapore," he told Channel Seven.
Mr Turnbull also responded to claims the Duchess of Cornwall looked bored during the opening ceremony.
"She was certainly enjoying the spectacle," he said, adding Prince Charles had a dry sense of humour.
Earlier, the the couple visited Broadbeach, unveiling the final plaque on the Commonwealth Walkway, meeting nippers, the Wales Supporters team, members of Sport2Clean and royal watchers.
The Walkway, which stretches 10km from Southport Chamber to the city's new Home of the Arts precinct and council chambers at Evandale, is the first Commonwealth Walkway to open in Australia.
More than 100 are planned across Commonwealth countries with only six completed, in Malta, Canada, New Zealand, Ascension, Scotland and now Australia.
The skies cleared and the Duchess made the most of her trip to the beach, taking her shoes off and dipping her toes in the water.
"Don't go in, darling," the Prince of Wales warned, as the waves lapped onto the sand.
The prince and duchess were joined by dignitaries, Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate and his wife, Ruth, and member for Nerang Meaghan Scanlon.
In the afternoon, Prince Charles met with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten at the Gold Coast's Sheraton Mirage, with a half-hour get-together behind closed doors.
British royal photographer Arthur Edwards reminded Charles of his 1981 tour to Australia, when the veteran Sun snapper captured the young prince swimming at Bondi Beach shortly after the announcement of his engagement to the late Princess Diana.
"You looked like a supermodel," Edwards ventured.
"Oh come on," a laughing Charles retorted, before regaling Mr Shorten with another press-related anecdote.
"They did it to me skiing in Switzerland," he began.
"We fell in a heap and they all rushed in."
Shorten nodded in empathy.
"We could compare notes but I suspect your stories are better than mine," he said.
Prince Charles remained at the hotel to meet with New Zealand Governor-General Patsy Reddy.
The royals were due to present medals at the swimming and cycling later on Thursday night.
It was the final day the couple were together, with Camilla due to attend events in Brisbane on Friday before flying home, while Prince Charles will fly to Bundaberg and on to Vanuatu, Cairns and Darwin.
