When Jarrod Croker leads the Canberra Raiders onto the field in 2018, The Mighty Green Machine song will be blaring through the speakers at Canberra Stadium.
The Raiders have opted to enter the arena to the tune of AC/DC's Highway to Hell for the past two seasons in a move that left some punters scratching their heads.
The fan favourite Green Machine song was still played as Croker led the Raiders on to the paddock for the second half, but it wasn't quite the same.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner has confirmed the Raiders will return to the song so catchy even former Parramatta Eels captain Nathan Hindmarsh knew the words.
Hindmarsh was caught on camera singing the song as the Raiders took to the field in a game during the 2012 season.
The Viking Clap will happen before every home game, and Hush legend and Green Machine song writer Les Gock is slated to blow the Viking horn - which will now be placed on the field - in round two.
Furner also confirmed the Raiders will wear three special jerseys to partner their home and away kits during the 2018 season.
The Raiders will don a Ricky Stuart Foundation autism awareness jumper, a women in league kit and a cultural jersey dedicated to the late Kato Ottio.
Raiders marketing manager Jason Mathie says the club will tap into the vast cultures within the playing group and have the handprints of players of different backgrounds printed on the jumpers.
"We're really blessed that we've got a playing group that is quite diverse in terms of their cultural heritage," Mathie said.
"The decision was made that rather than just being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander that we would actually pick up as many of those different cultural heritages as we could, and we'll lay down some handprints from the players that actually represent our playing group.
"The significant component of the jersey that will be attributed to Kato is we'll look to put his name on the jersey.
"The jersey we wear in the fixture, which from memory is round 10 versus Cronulla, we'll auction those match-worn jerseys off at the conclusion of the game and put it towards that fund that we have running at the moment to raise money for his mum and hopefully fulfil his dream of buying her a house."
It's a touching tribute that Canberra fans are expected to support.
Those same fans will be hoping a return to the beloved club song will send a warning to the Newcastle Knights when they play at Canberra Stadium in round two on March 18.
