Swifts captain Abbey McCulloch has been ruled out of Saturday's Super Netball clash with Adelaide after suffering a knee injury in the loss to Melbourne last weekend.

She joins vice-captain and Australian Diamond Paige Hadley on the sidelines. Hadley will miss a second-straight week with a knee injury of her own.
Training partner Sophie Halpin has been drafted in as a temporary replacement for McCulloch this weekend, while Maddy Proud will take the captaincy reins.
Coach Rob Wright has also recalled Lauren Moore in place of defender Emma Tickner as his side chases a second win of the season.
"This year is all about starting a journey and it's another great opportunity for our young players to step up," Wright said.
"With Abbey and Paige missing I think we just need a little more versatility on the bench and that's why we've called Lauren up for this game.
"Not only can Lauren play both circle defender positions, she can also play wing defence which offers us another option in Abbey's absence."
