Women's world surfing champion Tyler Wright and Aussie surfing superstar Julian Wilson will compete in Australia's largest lifestyle and action sports festival at Manly.

The 2017 Australian Open of Surfing is a nine-day event which consists of surfing, skateboarding and BMX, and live concerts on the music stage.
Pro surfer Felicity Palmateer said the event was the highest rated of its kind for men and women.
"It's a massive event ... all these different elements really cater for everyone," the 24-year-old said.
"Just to compete in my backyard is very amazing ... to have the support of the Aussies," said Palmateer, who was born in Western Australia.
Palmateer broke Layne Beachley's record by surfing 20-foot waves in 2015 at Cow Bombie in her home state of Western Australia. She was the first female to ride the notorious Cow Bombie breaks.
"I'm feeling really good coming into the event," said Palmateer. "I've been training and surfing a lot, so I'm feeling comfortable and confident – hopefully we get some waves."
Nikki Van Dijk who is defending women's champion for the Australian Open of Surfing event, and Macy Callaghan, the current world junior champion, will also be competing.
Callaghan said her world junior champion title was a "massive achievement".
"I've always wanted to be a world champion and when I achieved it at a pretty young age I was pretty happy."
Also competing are six of the world's top 10-ranked World Surf League (WSL) female surfers including Sally Fitzgibbons and Laura Enever, and four of the world's top 20-ranked WSL male surfers including Josh Kerr, Jack Freestone and Jadson Andre.
"The athlete line-up this year represents the best we've had since the Australian Open of Surfing was launched," said Simon Corkill, vice president of Event Operations Australia.
"The growth of the event and current roster of sponsors is reflected in the calibre of talent who will compete."
The event is expected to set the global stage for promising gold medal talent in the lead up to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. The event at Manly will run until March 5.
