Devoy's Tuggeranong Valley met Rogers' Weston Creek Molonglo in the Regional Twenty20 Cup grand final in October and are currently halfway through their two-day Douglas Cup clash.

Now they are preparing to meet in the one-day Gallop Cup grand final after both sides registered comprehensive semi-final victories on Sunday.

Creek won the Twenty20 grand final and have the upper hand in their ongoing two-day clash thanks largely to the efforts of Rogers and Mark Bennett.

The same old faces did the damage as Rogers (144 not out from 130) and Bennett (117 off 127) both posted tons in their semi-final against Ginninderra at Stirling Oval.

But Bennett said Creek couldn't afford to revel in recent success — a new game was a whole new proposition.

"It certainly gives you confidence but you're under no illusions it's a different game and a different situation, so you've got to start from ball one," Bennett said.

"There's no runs on the board when you walk out there. Any final is a challenge, you've got to get yourself up, and hopefully we can do that next Sunday and get another one under the belt."

Rogers joined Bennett at the crease with the hosts teetering at 2-27, and by the time the next wicket fell the pair had added 244 — a record stand for Creek in limited overs cricket.

Rogers' knock was the highest score in ACT limited overs semi-final history, while Bennett's was fourth on the list.

Former first class batsman Rogers amassed 304 runs over the weekend after notching an unbeaten 160 in the Douglas Cup on Saturday.

The match was evenly poised at the halfway point of Ginninderra's run chase with the Tigers 1-156 after 25 overs, before Brad Izzard struck to remove opener James Coate for 69.

Wickets fell at regular intervals to bring down the curtain on Ginninderra's limited overs season with the Tigers eventually rolled for 280.

Tuggeranong come in hot off the back of a 145-run thumping of Wests-UC at Chisholm Oval.

Representative schedule clashes left Wests-UC without the top three in their batting order with Blake Macdonald, Matthew Gilkes and Tom Engelbrecht at the under-19 national championships.

Another senior trio in captain Joe Cooke, Ethan Bartlett and Jack Harper had swapped Chisholm Oval for the Sydney Cricket Ground to play for Wagga Wagga in the Regional Bash.

The group's statewide Twenty20 tournament ambitions were dashed, and it was a similar story in the nation's capital.

The trio were dearly missed in the run chase as the visitors slumped to 3-12 in reply to Tuggeranong's 9-252.

Only two players managed double figure scores as Benji Floros (3-15) and Daniel Burgess (3-33) tore through the Wests-UC batting lineup to book a place in the decider.

Earlier in the day the minor premiers recovered from 4-37 to post an imposing target with four players cracking the 40-run barrier.

The Gallop Cup final will be played at Manuka Oval on Sunday from 2.30pm.
