United's attacking roster led by Michelle Heyman entertained the crowd at McKellar Park last weekend putting five goals past Newcastle Jets.
They will play the next five games interstate including against Adelaide United on Saturday night. And their game against Brisbane Roar on December 18 will be a home game for Canberra but played on the Central Coast.
This will means Canberra will go on a whirlwind tour of the eastern states with consecutive games in Adelaide, Melbourne, Gosford, back to Melbourne and then up the Hume Highway to Sydney.
United's next game in Canberra will be on January 7 in round 11 of the 14-round season.
They begin this road trip with two wins and one loss and coach Rae Dower will be hoping the attacking flair in the team will have them primed for a title-tilt when they next play at home.
Heyman got her scoring under way last weekend with two goals but she was joined by Stephanie Ochs and youngsters Grace Maher and Nickoletta Flannery.
"A lot has been made about the attacking players we've got in the team and it was always going to take them some time to gel and to get to know each other," Dower said.
"They're certainly trying very hard at training and the chemistry is starting to pay off, and I think that the game showed there is a lot of potential there for further clinical finishing."
Adelaide are yet to record a win this season but Dower said their offensive focus makes them a dangerous opponent, but will also open up the field for a counter attack.
"They showed in the first game of the season that they're capable of scoring goals, they're very vocal about playing direct," Dower said.
"They're not looking to play a possession kind of game they're just looking to get the ball into the danger areas very quickly.
"It's fair to say we're going to create a lot of goal-scoring opportunities this year so for us it's all about being clinical and finishing them."
Heyman leads the league as the greatest goal scorer with 57 next to her name and Dower said she has come to rely on her to play further from goal.
"She's the kind of player that comes a little bit deeper and runs at players well anyway," Dower said.
"She likes taking on players in that one-vs-one role so it's great to see her get that monkey off the back and get started."
