We might just have gone into spring but it's time to browse handicrafts, jewellery and pretty things from local and Australian designers.
First cab off the rank is the Night Market on Friday, September 9, at the Hotel Realm precinct in Barton, with food stalls, fashion and jewellery in the laneway between the Realm and Burbury hotels.
On Saturday and Sunday, thousands of people are expected to throng through the very popular Handmade Markets at Exhibition Park in Mitchell.
The Handmade Markets, founded by Canberra businesswomen Rachel Evagelou and Julie Nichols, bring together designers from all over the country to Canberra, and have become a go to event for hand crafted items and small businesses.
And there's Fash n Treasure on Saturday from 10am to 3pm, where you can browse vintage clothing or set up a table and clear out your wardrobe for a fistful of cash.
