Prime Minister Scott Morrison will be in Tasmania on Wednesday and will likely be buoyed by the UComm poll of 847 Bass voters in the Hobart Mercury placing Liberals candidate Bridget Archer at 54 per cent on a two-party preferred basis.
Bass has changed hands at seven of the nine last elections and is held by Labor's Ross Hart on a margin of 5.4 per cent.
