He knocked out a 27-year-old in a sparring session when he was 13 and won the Australian under-15 57-kilogram title in his fourth fight.

The biggest decision Canberra national champion Tristan Eldridge, 14, will have to make is whether he should focus on boxing or rugby league.
A five-eighth or fullback for the South Tuggeranong Knights in the under-15 division, Eldridge is also a national champion in his age group for judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
"I'm going to have to choose sooner or later, but for now I'm going to stick to doing them all," Eldridge said.
"Hopefully I can go back to boxing for another Australian championship next year."
Based out of the Fit to Fight gym in Tuggeranong under the watchful eye of coaches Greg Chapman and Jason Huckle, Eldridge displayed his talent inside the ring almost immediately, winning the ACT title in his second bout.
His confidence grew after knocking out a sparring partner more than twice his age with a powerful shot to the ribs.
Eldridge was 13 at the time when he put his 27-year-old opponent on the canvas.
"I dropped him in the corner with a body shot," Eldridge said.
"It felt good knowing coming into this fight I could hurt people older than me.
"I knew if I stick to it I could go for gold."
Indeed he did.
Training for up to two hours a day, six days a week after school, Eldridge's hard work paid off winning the national title on the Gold Coast in April. He won all three rounds in the final.
"It was overwhelming really, you lose your breath and everything," Eldridge said.
"When I left the ring I couldn't walk back."
Eldridge came to the attention of Chapman three years ago when he was 11, fine-tuning his technique until he made his ring debut 12 months ago.
"I recognise talent straight away and I could see he had potential," Chapman said. "[His potential] is unlimited.
"His footwork isn't the greatest on the movement, but his strength and tenacity is over the top.
"He's very single-minded, that's what makes him so easy to coach."
Eldridge will travel to Auckland in June to fight that city's champion in his age division.
It's another step in his development and a path Chapman believes, that with the required discipline and hard work, could lead all the way to the 2020 Olympic Games.
"That's very much on my mind," Chapman said.
