In last week's first-round clash against the Sydney Bears, Tetreault stopped 28 attempts from 29 in the Brave's 4-1 win at Macquarie Ice Rink, which coach Rob Starke said was an "oustanding effort".
The Australian ice hockey league has struggled to find consistent local talent in front of the goals, but the Brave hope NHL-veteran Matt Climie will help change that.
Both Tetreault, 20, and Doornbos, who turns 18 on Sunday, are excited to have the opportunity to learn from a professional player.
"Not many goalies in Australia can say they're partnered up with an NHL goal tender," Tetreault said. "I'm really looking forward to getting on the ice with him."
The local goaltending pair said they have a healthy and competitive relationship that pushes them both towards stronger performances.
Climie hasn't landed in Australia yet, but anticipation is building around the arrival of the 36-year-old.
Starke said Australian clubs could bring out experienced players and see a bit of star-power rub off and build up the talent in their local ranks.
Brave captain Matthew Harvey said the team needed maintain its consistency and stamina across three periods in Adelaide at the weekend.
