For so long GWS Giants spearhead Jeremy Cameron has yearned for that elusive eight-goal game.

So impressive has the Coleman Medal leader been this year that his Giants teammate Harry Himmelberg "wouldn't put anything past him at the moment".

Five times he has booted seven in a game, and Himmelberg would love to see his teammate go one better for the Giants against St Kilda at Manuka Oval on Saturday - and they may need it with key stars Phil Davis and Josh Kelly ruled out late on Friday.
Together they form two key pillars of a Giants forward line that will inevitably go a long way towards defining the club's hopes of claiming its inaugural premiership.
Himmelberg has even caught the attention of Kevin Sheedy in the past but the emerging star stops well short of comparing himself to Cameron, simply "because that's a bit of a stretch".
After all, Cameron is seven goals clear at the top of the AFL's leading goal scorers list with 24 majors from six games. He also boasts the top nine individual hauls in a game in Giants history.
For good reason the former Eastlake Demon is soaking up everything he can alongside the 26-year-old setting his sights on a club-first eight-goal outing "in the near future".

"I wouldn't put anything past him at the moment. He is in really good form," Himmelberg said.
"Me and Jez obviously are a similar build, I'm not going to say I'm a similar player to him, because that's a bit of a stretch.
"I can learn a lot off Jez. Every week we go through tapes and stuff, and he teaches me a lot, which is really good for my development as well.
"He has had a few injury interruptions over the past couple of years, which has been really frustrating for him, but it's a real credit to him how he has come out on the other side of them and how he has shown consistent form this year.
"For our team's sake I hope he continues it. The whole forward line working together is the main thing.

"Jez is such a good player, he is so smart and athletic, the goals are just a bonus on the top of his hard work."
So Himmelberg wouldn't be surprised to see Cameron potentially double his lead at the top of the Coleman race, but what does he expect from himself?
"I haven't really speculated in the past with how many goals I'll kick, because it comes back to bite me most of the time. If I can get one I'll be happy," Himmelberg said.
The Giants will need to lift in the absence of star duo Davis and Kelly, who have been ruled out in a cruel blow.
Davis has failed to overcome the ankle injury he picked up a fortnight ago while Kelly has picked up an adductor complaint.

Giants coach Leon Cameron has drafted Jackson Hately and Matt Buntine into the side.
Stephen Coniglio is set to assume the captaincy role in Davis' absence after he got through training with a protective glove on his right hand.
While one hometown hero will be missing in Canberra, another one is set to play - albeit one in opposition colours.
St Kilda coach Alan Richardson has declared forward Josh Bruce is fit and firing ahead of a homecoming.
The Canberra product has been managing a cork but looks set to take his place in the Saints' forward line.
Richardson concedes selecting the key forward last week was a mistake after Bruce was kept goalless, but he is confident he is fit this time around.
"Brucey probably wasn't at his best physically last week, he did a good job to put his hand up," Richardson said.
"But now that it's been two weeks [since suffering a cork in round five], he's fine, he'll want to play well against his former team."
