Campese produced his best game since rupturing his knee in the 2010 semi-final against last night's opponents.

But the joy of the Raiders' comprehensive 30-16 win over the Tigers was somewhat soured with another two forwards added to the injured list.

Kangaroos prop David Shillington is expected to be out for two to three weeks with an abdominal injury, while hard-hitting second-rower Josh Papalii is in doubt for next Monday's match against North Queensland with a quad strain.

But the night belonged to Campese as the former NSW and Australian five-eighth gave the greatest indication he was on his way back to his dominating best.

Running at the line, controlling tempo, driving the Tigers deep into corners with expert kicking - Campese put on a brilliant show for the carloads of fans who made the trek up from his native Queanbeyan for a night eight years in the making. He topped off a fantastic individual performance with a crucial try to seal his first victory over Tigers counterpart Benji Marshall.

Campese played just eight minutes of last season when he tore his groin in his comeback match from a knee reconstruction. A torn pectoral muscle sustained in the gym compounded the pain.

''It's been a long wait with three major injuries to get over,'' Campese said. ''It comes now with confidence and I think tonight was a big step.''

Campese debuted as a 19-year-old with the Raiders in 2004 and is on track to finish his career as a one-club man, with his current deal not expiring until 2015.

''Jesus, it's taken a long time [to reach 100 matches], how many could I have racked up if I played all of them?'' Campese joked.

''It's a great milestone. There's no better club to play for than the mighty Green Machine and hopefully my best football is still ahead of me.''

Shillington admitted he would be ''touch and go'' for the Anzac Test match against New Zealand on April 20, after he missed last year's corresponding fixture with a torn pectoral muscle.

''Maybe it's just not to be with me and the Anzac Test,'' Shillington said. ''I just felt it strain in the tackle as I was twisting. As soon as I felt it, I knew what it was. Hopefully at the moment it's only a two-to-three-week injury, maybe a little bit more.

''Learning from my pec injury last year - which was recurring - I'll just make sure I rehab it really diligently and don't come back too early.''

Before he left the field Shillington was instrumental in giving the Raiders the lead early in the second half, delivering a clever offload which led to Sam Mataora crossing for his maiden first-grade try.

Tigers coach Sheens lamented his side's indiscipline as the home team went down 8-3 in the penalty count in addition to missing 40 tackles compared to just nine by the Raiders. ''You've got to be able to defend and tonight we didn't,'' Sheens said.

Tigers centre Chris Lawrence was put on report for a lifting tackle on Jack Wighton, who was also sanctioned for a high shot on Marshall.
