There is a healthy rivalry between radio stations regarding who is the first to play a new song by Beyonce, Britney or Rihanna, but the mute button has been pushed on Amy Winehouse's last ever recording.
While her earlier work from the Back To Black album and other collaborations with Mark Ronson were on high rotation on the top rating FM stations, Body and Soul, a jazz-infused duet with Tony Bennett, may miss out on airtime.
"Stranger things have happened but Tony Bennett, as well regarded as he is, doesn’t have a place on a hit music station like 92.9FM. However, us not playing it won't stop Amy’s fans from buying it so they can enjoy it," 92.9FM content director Mickey Maher said.
Even 92.9FM's more mature sister station is not interested.

"Amy Winehouse was a great singer, and you can hear how good she was in this song with Tony Bennett.
"However, it's very jazz/blues based, and it wouldn't fit well with MIX 94.5's format," MIX 94.5 music director Barry Keohane said.
Other stations are testing the song online via their websites and are waiting to see what happens on the charts.
"If it makes it into Top 40 on ITunes then it will be played in 'The Fresh 40 with Christo & Katie' on Saturday from 1pm," Nova 937 music director Clare Marshall said.
If people want to hear it for free on the wireless Marshall suggests "to jump online and download away."
"It's a strange one, but no we haven’t played it," 96fm music man Wayne McLean added.
Body and Soul, was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios four months before the singer was found dead in her home on July 23.
It was released to commemorate on the day that would have been her 28th birthday.
"We had a beautiful time recording together in the studio and I knew that Amy was very happy with how she performed that day," Bennett said.
"I thought she was absolutely brilliant and this recording truly captures the essence of her unique artistry. She was a rare talent."
Body and Soul will feature on Bennett's forthcoming album, Duets II, which will also include other duets the jazz icon recorded with Lady Gaga, Michael Buble and John Mayer.
The accompanying music video for Body and Soul was filmed by Dion Beebe, the Oscar winning cinematographer of Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha.
The clip shows a healthy and alert looking Winehouse, sporting her trademark beehive hair style and thick-winged black eyeliner, singing along with 85-year-old Bennett.
At the recent MTV Video Music Awards Bennett, along with other performers Bruno Mars and Russell Brand, paid homage to the Grammy Award winning Valerie singer.
At the awards Bennett, one of the last people to ever record with her, said Winehouse had a rare gift and was a "true" jazz artist who most definitely had "it".
The release of the new single also coincided with the launch of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, by her father Mitch, which aims to assist young people dealing with addiction.
Mr Winehouse, who has been doing the talk show rounds in the US this week, spoke to both Anderson Cooper and Piers Morgan about Amy and his plans for the future.
In the interviews he spoke out about Amy's death, her tumultuous marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil and possible plans for more of her music to be released.
"Her legacy will be her music," he said.
"Hopefully there will be some more music. I don't think there's a great deal to come, [but] there will be some more hopefully."
Speaking of her death, Winehouse believed his daughter died from a seizure brought on by withdrawl after heavy binge drinking sessions.
He claimed she had not used illegal drugs in three years.
An inquiry into her death will continue in London on October 26.
Proceeds from the sale of Body and Soul will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
