Former Interpol chief Meng Hongwei has admitted to taking bribes, Chinese state media reports.

Former Interpol chief Meng Hongwei has admitted his guilt during a court hearing on Thursday after Chinese prosecutors accused him of taking 14.5 million yuan ($A3 million) in bribes, according to state media.
