The CareersXpo seeks to provide valuable career guidance and advice on career opportunities available to secondary students throughout the ACT and surrounding NSW schools network.

The Canberra CareersXpo is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. In 2018, the two-day event attracted some 8700 visitors and has grown in size every year since it began.
Exhibitors from training institutions, businesses, employment agencies, support services, student travel companies, government departments, Indigenous organisations, apprenticeship providers and employers such as the Australian Defence Force present useful and relevant information in an interactive and interesting way.
All the major east coast universities are represented at this year's CareersXpo. This includes the University of Tasmania, Bond University on the Gold Coast, Torrens University, Melbourne universities such as Monash University, LaTrobe University, the RMIT and the University of Melbourne, the University of Wollongong, Charles Sturt University from Wagga Wagga, Sydney universities such as the University of New South Wales, Macquarie University, University of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney, and locals such as the University of Canberra, the Australian National University, UNSW ADFA and the Australian Catholic University.
The exhibition will be set up in two buildings at EPIC; the Conference Centre (or Parkes Room) and the Budawang Pavilion.
As you alight from your bus, train or car and head towards the buildings, you will have to walk the gauntlet of our enticing outdoor displays consisting of a bushmaster, a zodiac boat, the University of Canberra's mobile health clinic, CIT's display van, horticultural equipment, an ambulance, fire truck and police cars.
