"There is currently a lot of misinformation in the marketplace about retirement villages and aged care," says the team at Goodwin.

"It can often be difficult to gather all the facts needed to make a confident decision about retirement living."

To help address this situation, Goodwin Aged Care Services has put together an information session where you can get down to the detail and ask any questions you may have about the options available to you.

Called Retirement Living: The facts, this is an information day where you can hear from the experts and gather the information to explore your options.

This information day will be held from 10am on Friday, August 23 at Goodwin Monash Clubhouse, 15 Cockcroft Avenue, Monash, ACT.

"The event features three knowledgeable presenters who will explain retirement village living, village contracts and home care," the team at Goodwin says.

Free refreshments will be provided. You may also like to enjoy lunch at the cafe and join Goodwin on a tour of the apartments and amenities so you can see what retirement living looks like.

Their presenters will be Erik Boddeus, Goodwin's executive manager retirement living, and Leanne Thompson, Goodwin's community liaison manager.
