The Moving Feast is an annual festival put on by the Makers of Murrumbateman, a group of local businesses who got together to find ways to promote their region.
This year it will take place on Saturday and Sunday October 5 and 6, along with a relaxing Music Monday at a few venues featuring live entertainers on October 7.
First held in 2006, Makers of Murrumbateman say that the initiative was among the first they came up with to attract visitors to this very pretty part of NSW.

It certainly worked, and the Moving Feast is now a well-established event on many foodies' and wine lovers' calendars.
It's not just wineries and grape vineyards either. Among the 18 venues you can go to this year, they have a meadery, a chocolatier, and an alpaca farm.
The concept is one of a family-friendly experience, where you come to see the region and then taste and experience what it has to offer. The idea is you will move from one venue to the next at your leisure, eating at one or two of them (there are separate mains and deserts), and discovering locally-made products at each other location that takes your interest.
Designated drivers (or if you're really just there to enjoy the food) are offered the option of tea, coffee, soft drink or water in place of their meal's glass of wine.
The menu is updated for each year's event, and their focus is on variety.
