The Australian Federal Police is auctioning off hot designer jewellery for a steal, with discounts of up to 80 per cent on bounty bought with dirty money.

More than $1 million worth of precious gem-encrusted jewels and watches will be up for online auction from Tuesday until May 17, including luxury brands such as Cartier, Bvlgari, Tiffany, Rolex, Emporio Armani and Breitling.
The AFP are selling more than 250 pieces of the authenticated loot which was originally purchased using money earned through criminal activity.
The auction's hottest ticket is an 18ct rose gold Cartier love bangle, including original box, which would go for about $15,200 brand new.
Auctioneers First State Auctions say the item is expected to sell for between $4000 to $7000, about a 70 per cent discount.
And there's nothing dirty about the Bvlgari Lvcea ladies watch, which retails at more than $42,000.
All proceeds from sale of the contraband will go to the Commonwealth government.
