Canberra closed out a series sweep against the Sydney Blue Sox with an 8-6 win in Lismore on Sunday, clinching a perfect 4-0 record for the weekend having welcomed back a raft of stars for the first time this season.
It lifts the Cavalry to an 8-9 record, with the two sides set to meet again in a four-game series at Narrabundah Ballpark from Thursday night.
Tucker Nathans was named Canberra's player of the series over the weekend having led the charge from the lead-off spot, hitting two home runs and reaching base in 11 of his 18 plate appearances.
"Nobody within our organisation is surprised to see what this squad can do at full strength," Cavalry general manager Sunny Singh said.

"It's been a long time coming, and this series is somewhat of a warning shot going forward. At full strength, this is a squad to be reckoned with and we're well and truly in the mix this season.
"The boys are almost accustomed to being asked to change plans at the last minute this season. The fact that they've been able to put on a show with such short notice, is a testament to the character and resolve in this team."
The Cavalry now sit fourth in the ABL standings, with the regular season stretching until February 7 as officials balance baseball and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Canberra will need to finish fifth or better to earn a playoff spot, with the fourth and fifth seeds to meet in a wildcard game on February 9.
The winner will join the top three teams in a double-elimination bracket three days later, culminating in championship showdown on February 14.
