2. Kopasetic Petrified Single Launch
Music lovers will rejoice as The Street Theatre is back with its regular gigs, kicking off this weekend with Kopasetic to launch their new single Petrified. Audience members will be the first to hear the band's new music which is bound to be an unmissable exclusive. 3. Christmas in the city with the O Christmas Trio
It isn't Christmas until you hear carols, and what better way to let it begin with the angelic O Christmas Trio who will be descending upon Civic and Dickson from this Saturday. The trio will be singing both traditional and modern interpretations of everyone's favourite carols. The first performance kicks off this Saturday at City Walk at 11am. Performances will move throughout Civic and Dickson. 4. LOVE DISCO at Blackbird Bar
If you want to transport yourself back to the 80s for a night, then Blackbird Bar has the event for you this Saturday with LOVE DISCO. A lineup of more than eight artists including Dionysus Sin, River Styx, Toni Kola and more. Tickets are no more than $28 with multiple show time options depending on how late you like to dance. 5. An afternoon at the Proms
A musical spectacular has reached Canberra Theatre Centre which honours famous BBC Proms Concerts from London's Royal Albert Hall this Sunday at 2pm. Australia's best will be performing orchestral pieces, ballets, operas, musicals and more that will celebrate British culture. This includes Australia's most acclaimed violinist Ian Cooper alongside opera stars, prima ballerinas, Pipe Band and the Blue Danube Orchestra.
