Australian politicians and political leaders will get national security crash courses as fears of foreign interference ramp up.

National Security 23, known as NS23, will be run by ANU's National Security College from next year and provide a series of trainings and briefings for parliamentarians on national security issues.
A university spokesman said the teachings would draw upon the college's best experts and researchers.
"The ANU National Security College has a special mandate to help Australia meet its most pressing security challenges through teaching, research and policy engagement," he told AAP.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong announced the initiative at a budget estimates hearing on Thursday.
Senator Wong said parliamentarians needed to put the national interest over politics.
"And in pursuit of that interest, seek out ways to better prepare and brief this parliament," she said.
"Our democracy and our country are more robust when our parliamentarians are better informed."
The program details are still being finalised.
