NSW Police told ACM the incident was not suspicious.
The tragic death has renewed awareness for mental health issues and suicide.
One fan, Jen, was inspired to share her story following Newling's crash saying she's "been to hell and back on a soda cracker".
But she said those experiencing suicidal thoughts "will find a moment in time on the other side where you say, I am so glad I lived to see this".
The 36-year-old ex-Bachelorette star had just welcomed his second child eight weeks earlier with partner Kristal Taylor. He also had a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship.
He had gained fame on Ali Oetjen's 2018 season of The Bachelorette but was booted from the show after the relationship turned sour.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr Newling had been handed a 13-month prison sentence to be served in the community after causing "fear, torment and horror" through abusive messages directed at his mother and step-father, Magistrate Ross Hudson said in September 2022.
