Grammy-winning R&B icon Usher announced he's booked to headline the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime show at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on February 11.

"It's happening, it has happened ladies and gentlemen," Usher said to New Zealand radio host Zane Lowe about the announcement on September 25.
The Super Bowl Halftime show is one of the most watched US events of the year with more than 118 million people tuning in to watch a pregnant Rihanna take the stage in 2023.
Kim Kardashian, NFL coach Deion Sanders and NFL players Odell Beckham Jr and Marshawn Lynch helped the Yeah! singer break the news on social media.
"I finally got the answers to those rumours. It's not about me, it's about you. You're doing the Super Bowl," Kardashian said.
But it's Usher's scenes that have fans cheering.
They were filmed 20 years ago for the iconic video clip attached to his 2004 ballad Confessions, Pt. II which begins with Usher answering a phone call from his mistress and hearing she's pregnant.
The rest of the clip is worth watching for those who love dramatic topless dancing.
The final clip features modern day Usher calling his 2004 self with the news.
The R&B star has released eight albums and collected eight Grammy awards in a career spanning the late 1990s to today.
The 44-year-old is best known for club anthems including Yeah!, DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love and Caught Up. But Burn, U Got It Bad and Confessions, Pt. II were break-out ballads for the singer.
He's regularly featured on songs by other artists including David Guetta, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.
