Tesla has announced it will begin first deliveries of its long-awaited Cybertruck electric ute on November 30, 2023.

The first deliveries are scheduled to take place during a "delivery event" being held at the company's Gigafactory in Texas, according to a post on X (formally Twitter).
It's likely updated prices and specs will be confirmed at the delivery event.
When questioned on the number of Cybertruck deliveries expected in 2024 during the company's Q3 earnings call this week, Mr Musk reiterated the difficulty Tesla faces in generating positive cash flow and ramping up production.
"The ramp [up in production] is going to be extremely difficult," said Mr Musk.
"There will be enormous challenges in reaching volume production with the Cybertruck and then in making the Cybertruck cash flow positive.
"It is going to require immense work to reach volume production and be cash flow positive at a price that people can afford."
However, when talking about a rough production timeline, Mr Musk said "I think we'll end up with roughly a quarter million Cybertrucks a year."
"I don't think we'll reach that output rate next year, we'll probably reach it sometime in 2025"
It has been four years since the Cybertruck was revealed, and Mr Musk has warned prices and specs will be different from the initial 2019 concept.
"Cybertruck pricing was unveiled in 2019 and the reservation was $99, so you know a lot has changed since then," Mr Musk said in August 2022.
"The specs and the pricing will be different.
"I hate to sort of give a little bit of bad news but I think there's no way to sort have anticipated quite the inflation that we've seen and the various issues but what I can say is that the Cybertruck will be one hell of a product and it's going to be like a damn fine machine."
Last year, the option to place a refundable $150 deposit for the Cybertruck in markets like Australia was removed.
Not many details are known about the Cybertruck, however Tesla claims the electric ute will boast up to 804km of range and be able to achieve a 0-60mph (0-96km/h) time of 2.9 seconds.
According to the carmaker's US website, the Cybertruck will feature a 1587kg payload, towing capacity of over 6300kg, and 2831 litres of storage space spread out through the ute's tub, interior and frunk.
The latter appears to offer customers less space than the Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Hummer EV, and Rivian R1T.
More recently, a minute-long video uploaded to YouTube by vlad vein revealed details of the Cybertruck's interior.
The Cybertruck receives a landscape-oriented touchscreen infotainment system like the rest of the current Tesla range, though it receives a dedicated user interface (UI) with different fonts, icons and graphics.
Other noteworthy details include two wireless phone chargers found on the centre console, a screen for rear-seat passengers like what's found in the recently updated Model 3 and sunshades that look heavily inspired by the Model X.
