A seventh man has been charged over his alleged involvement in a gruesome kidnapping in Sydney's west earlier this year.

The 20-year-old was arrested at Sydney International Airport at about 10 am on Saturday, after an operation involving NSW Police and border force officials.
He was later charged with five offences, including detaining someone with the intent to seek a ransom as well as causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police allege the man was part of a group of men accused of breaking into the Smithfield home of Peter Vuong on March 9.
Mr Vuong, 26, was forced into a vehicle, held for nearly a week and tortured as ransom demands were made.
Police in March described the kidnapping as a "very serious crime" involving an "extreme" level of violence.
During his ordeal, Mr Vuong, who was not known to police, was bound and had his teeth forcibly removed.
He was rescued from a home in Belmore by tactical police officers on March 14.
The 20-year-old Oakhurst man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
