Brewer Lance Masterton said "we're after someone who is passionate about exceptional beer, somebody who understands the balance of flavour".
A whopping $250 hourly rate is on offer to their 'chief beer tasting officer' but don't quit the day job just yet because the role only requires four hours of labour each year.
Noosaville's chief taster would be needed at the brewery from 8am when the first beer is transferred from their tank to the bottle filler for packaging.
"We want them to taste the first beer off the line, savour it, pour it into the glass and look at the clarity and make sure the carbonation is evolving nicely," he said.
Heads of Noosa brewers would look to the chief taster for "a thumbs down or thumbs up" to continue bottling at 5000 units per hour.
"There is a big component of this that we can teach, we're really looking for the right person who has the communication skills, works well with a team and has that passion," he said.
Mr Masterton and his brother Craig decided to bring a fresh palate to the team when bottling their limited release brews for 2024.
They thought it would "be great to get someone with a fresh set of eyes to be quality control".
The chief taster would also look like a part of the team. The Masterton's are offering to fit out the successful applicant in a branded shirt, hat, jumper and socks.
The taster will also have lunch cooked by the Taproom chefs on their rostered days as well as two cases of every 2024 Heads of Noosa limited release.
Job hunters are encouraged to apply through the Heads of Noosa website with 50 words or fewer before December 17.
