Calvary Hospital's chief financial officer has resigned from the position just days before a managerial shake up was set to come into effect.

Bill Morfis announced his resignation, effective immediately, from the hospital a fortnight ago after more than two years in the position.
The Sunday Canberra Times understands Catherine Shadbolt, who has previously worked as a financial controller for Calvary and ACT Health, has been appointed acting CFO.
Calvary Hospital did not elaborate on the circumstances behind Mr Morfis's resignation, with a hospital spokesman saying it cannot comment on the circumstances of individual employees.
The resignation comes as the Bruce Hospital underwent management changes that came into effect on September 3.
The changes would see staff at Calvary's public and private hospital fall under the one umbrella, with employees reporting to a single chief executive.
Similar overhauls are also happening at other Calvary-owned facilities in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
Patient services are not expected to be impacted as a result of the changes.
Hospital staff said Calvary employees were informed of the resignation by email after Mr Morfis's last day.
It's understood Ms Shadbolt started in her new position on September 10.
The hospital spokesman confirmed there had been a number of changes made to senior managerial staff at Calvary over recent months.
"A representative of Calvary Health Care has acknowledged recent changes in the Calvary Public Hospital Bruce executive team arising from retirements, the end of tenure of executive contracts and members of the executive team pursuing other professional opportunities and personal interests," the spokesman said.
"The representative also observed that Calvary has been able to appoint exemplary health administrators and clinicians, from within and outside Calvary, to vacancies that have arisen in the executive team."
The resignation at Calvary Hospital comes as Canberra Hospital's new boss stepped down from the role only days after she was officially appointed to the role.
Janet Anderson was last week announced as chief executive of Health Services, the organisation overseeing Canberra Hospital after the split of ACT Health comes into effect on October 1.
Ms Anderson said last Thursday she would be stepping down from the position for personal reasons.
