Firefighters have freed a woman who was trapped after a two-vehicle crash that closed Pialligo Avenue in both directions.

An Emergency Services Agency spokeswoman said the crash happened near the Oaks Estate turn-off, about 12.30pm on Thursday.
The woman was taken to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
A man who was travelling in the other vehicle managed to get out by himself and was assessed at the scene before also being taken to Canberra Hospital.
Pialligo Avenue reopened when emergency services left the scene shortly before 3pm.
