Train commuters in Brisbane were furious after experiencing one-hour delays and cancellations for airport line trains due to a signal issue.

At 5pm on Thursday, airport line trains delays were halved from one-hour long waiting times to 30 minutes in both directions between Eagle Junction and international airport stations.
Queensland Rail said services travelling in both directions on this line were experiencing major delays.
They advised people alternate transport was arranged to convey customers between Eagle Junction and the airport stations.
Translink earlier reported the line from domestic airport to central train station was cancelled about 4.30pm on Thursday, with commuters having to wait until about 4.50pm to catch the next train.
Meanwhile on the roads, Queensland Traffic Metro are warning drivers to travel 60 kilometres per hour and drive slowly on the Ipswich Motorway westbound around Goodna due to the sun glare.
