A man has died after his ute veered off the road, hit a tree and rolled in the South Burnett region.

The ute left Mundubbera Durong Road in Proston, 135 kilometres west of Gympie, about 12.30pm on Monday and the driver, a 40-year-old South Toowoomba man, died at the scene.
Two male passengers, aged 26 and 50, were flown to Brisbane hospitals by RACQ rescue helicopters.
The Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
Later on Monday, a man had to be freed from his vehicle after a collision with a truck on Middle Road in Greenbank about 5.30pm.
Specialist paramedics helped treat the patient, who suffered head and leg injuries, and he was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
