It will be alleged the man confronted a 40-year-old male resident at a home on Battersby Street in Caboolture at about 11.30pm on Saturday and threatened him with a knife.

Police said the pair then struggled and the resident suffered a cut to his cheek before fleeing and calling emergency services.

It will also be alleged a second male resident, 52, was then threatened by the accused, and during a struggle the resident was stabbed three times in the leg and was cut under his chin.

The 52-year-old resident was taken to Caboolture Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the 40-year-old resident did not require hospital treatment.

Police then arrived at the residence and the accused allegedly tried to flee before being confronted by officers in the backyard.

Police said he threatened officers and tried to jump the back fence before being tasered and arrested.

It will be alleged all three men were known to each other.

The 28-year-old Caboolture man was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, attempted murder and obstructing police.

He was denied police bail and was remanded in custody to appear before the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday.

Staying on the Moreton Bay region, police have appealed for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries from an assault in Redcliffe during the early hours of Sunday.

Police said four people were arguing in a carpark on Sutton Street at about 2.20am when the disagreement turned physical.

A man hit another man in the head, causing him to fall to the ground and sustain serious facial and brain injuries, including a suspected fractured skull.

He was taken to Redcliffe Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Detectives were investigating but have appealed to anyone who witnessed or recorded the incident on their phone to come forward.
