A Queensland Department of Education contractor has been charged with fraud after a joint investigation by the state government body and the Crime and Corruption Commission.

The 33-year-old man, who lives in the Adelaide suburb of Magill, was charged on Monday and accused of fraud in relation to two separate department contracts worth $33,000 and $77,000.
He is set to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 9 and is the second person to be charged as part of the probe.
On Friday, a Queensland Department of Education employee was charged with the same offences related to frauds worth the same amount of money.
The 46-year-old Gordon Park man is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 4.
The investigation is ongoing.
