A Queensland public servant who works at the Department of Education has been charged with fraud.

The 46-year-old Gordon Park man was charged in Brisbane on Friday with two counts of fraud totalling $33,000 and $77,000 respectively.
The charges were laid as part of an investigation led by the department and the Crime and Corruption Commission.
"As this matter is before the court, and the investigation is ongoing, it is not appropriate for the CCC to comment further," the Crime and Corruption Commission said in a statement.
An Education spokesman said the department took allegations of fraud and corruption extremely seriously.
He said the department had referred the man to the CCC.
"As the matter is now the subject of pending court proceedings, the department will not be
commenting on what actions it may consider in the future, or the identity of the individual
involved."
The man was set to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 4.
