A serious two-vehicle crash has closed the Forest Hill-Fernvale Road at the intersection of Vernor Road, north of Ipswich.

Emergency services were called to the head-on crash just after 2.15pm on Friday afternoon.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a man in his 20s was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with serious leg and head injuries.
The man was trapped in his car for some time before being extricated.
Another two patients, a man in his 50s with neck pain and a woman in her 50s with chest pain, were both taken to Ipswich Hospital by road in a stable condition.
Queensland Police closed the intersection after 4.30pm as the Forensic Crash Unit investigated.
