Evening bus commuters were slugged with half-hour delays after a fire set off an alarm at Queen Street Mall on Tuesday afternoon.

Fire crews attended a small fire on the roof, which was extinguished within 20 minutes.
A TransLink spokesman said bus services were delayed because of a fire alarm at the bus exchange at the Brisbane Myer Centre.
More than 200 buses travelling through Brisbane's CBD at peak hour were affected.
"All buses travelling through the CBD will experience residual delays of up to 30 minutes due to an earlier incident requiring emergency services," the TransLink spokesman said.
