Rising talent Hannah Green believes she's in career-best form and on the cusp of her first Australian title at the Canberra Classic this weekend.

Green produced her second straight top-10 finish at the Australian Open last week and is feeling confident of another red-hot tournament at Royal Canberra.
The 22-year-old won a state title for Western Australian as a teenager at Gungahlin Lakes and wants to taste silverware again in the capital.
"This is my first time playing this tournament, and I know it's pretty high expectations but I’d love to win here on home soil," Green said.
"It would mean a lot [to win in Australia], it's not a burden I haven't but it’s something you want to get done soon rather than later.
"Last week I put myself in a good position to have that opportunity but I didn't perform on the weekend as well as I would have liked, I’m hoping this weekend can be even better."
Green was playing off scratch when was 12 and has three professional wins to complement podium finishes at the New Zealand Open and Australian Open.
The Perth export is the highest-ranked Australian playing at Royal Canberra and is feeling confident against a strong field.
"I love playing in Australia and am coming into this event probably in better form than any other event I’ve played, so I’m excited," Green said.
"It will definitely be tough though, it’s a pretty similar field to last week, and I had a pretty good week so I’m pretty confident with how my game is going.
"But there are lots of European girls here that are strong players, so it will be a good competition.
"Anne van Dam hits it so far, so that’s obviously a huge advantage on any course, or even Sarah Kemp, she’s had some really good results recently, so there are two players to watch."
Tournament sponsor ActewAGL has given 20 tickets to the Special Olympics ACT Golf which drew praise from the program's manager Albert Green.
"When I told them they had tears in their eyes," Green said.
"Just to watch people at their skill level will be incredible. They just watched the girls on the driving range here and were over the moon.
"It's a wonderful opportunity for our athletes, and they'll get benefit from just watching them play."
