Firefighters order Queensland Rail to suspend trains between Beenleigh and Helensvale as they battled a grassfire, about 4.20pm Wednesday.
The fire broke out at Coomera and could be seen burning right next to the tracks, it has since been contained.
A Queensland Rail spokesman said shuttle buses were organised to ferry commuters between the two stations, about 30 kilometres apart.
Residual delays up to 30 minutes were expected. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were contacted for comment.
