A 17-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly stabbing two men at Cleveland, leaving one of them in a critical condition with wounds to his torso and neck.

Police said there was a verbal argument between the teenager and two men at a hotel on Middle Street about 12.20am on Saturday before the teen left the premises.
It will be alleged another fight broke out between the trio on Shore Street a short time later and two men were stabbed.
