Canberra health provider Aspen Medical has jointly won the Australian Exporter of the Year award.

The company was given the award along with South Australian Company SEAPA - a company which designs plastic products specifically for oyster farming.
Trade Minister Simon Birmingham presented the award on Tuesday night in Canberra.
Aspen Medical provides healthcare services across Australia, the Pacific, Africa, the Gulf region, the UK and the USA, and employs more than 2,500 people.
Its clients come from a range of sectors including defence, mining and resources, oil and gas, government and humanitarian.
The company's projects have included treating Ebola in Africa, opening new trauma hospitals in southern Iraq, medical evacuations for multinational oil and gas companies, and providing health care in remote indigenous communities across the Northern Territory.
It won the Health & Biotechnology Australian Exporter of the Year Award and was crowned ACT Exporter of the Year in 2013.
Now in its 56th year, the award - presented by Austrade and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - is one of the longest running business award programs in Australia.
Mr Birmingham said Aspen Medical was a great Australian business success story.
"This is an outstanding achievement by a company that started as a small grassroots operation and is now a global business exporting their services to the world," he said.
"Aspen Medical exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation and I hope they can inspire thousands of other small businesses in the Canberra region to take a punt and become exporters."
