An executive was appointed to the board of government-owned power company after his CV was forwarded by a union boss to the then energy minister.

Electrical Trade Union boss Peter Simpson forwarded the resume to former energy minister Mark Bailey, who sent it to his chief of staff, a Right to Information request revealed.
"Mate, as discussed," Mr Simpson wrote in an email to Mr Bailey's private email account.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Thursday said she did not know whether the person landed a government job, and did not know their name because it was redacted in the RTI.
It can now be revealed the man whose resume was forwarded got the job.
Energy Minister Anthony Lynham said Mark Algie was appointed to the board of Energy Queensland in October 2016.
"He was subject to normal board-appointment selection processes including the endorsement of cabinet," Dr Lynham said.
A media release in October 2016 said Mr Algie brought more than 15 years' experience in senior human resource management roles within the construction, infrastructure, heavy engineering and media sectors.
Dr Lynham said Mr Algie's experience included as a member of the Australian Defence Force.
"His experience in workplace relations was invaluable in the merger of Queensland's energy companies, earning the respect of workers involved in the process who endorsed his appointment to the board," he said.
Mr Algie is also an executive of News Corp, based at its Bowen Hills headquarters in Brisbane.
LNP leader Deb Frecklington said the Premier should sack Mr Bailey "on the spot", saying Queenslanders should be angry about the revelations.
Last year, Mr Bailey was under fire for his use of a private email account mangocube6@yahoo.co.uk, which he deleted.
However, the Crime and Corruption Commission confirmed it would not prosecute Mr Bailey for his use of the email account and deletion of public records because they were able to be recovered.
When Mr Bailey was temporarily stood aside from cabinet in mid-2017 during the investigation, Ms Palaszczuk said her department would develop more explicit advice to ministers regarding the requirement they use their ministerial email address for all ministerial business.
It is yet to be completed.
