You will continue to own the copyright in your image(s). By submitting images to Fairfax Media, you grant Fairfax Media a non-exclusive, royalty free, irrevocable licence to publish the image(s) [for any editorial purpose] in any newspaper, magazine, website or other publication (whether in a digital or hard copy format) owned or published by Fairfax Media or any social media webpage controlled by Fairfax Media. You permit Fairfax Media to reformat your image for the purpose of publication.

The image you submit must be your own, original work. You warrant that the image you submit does not and will not infringe the rights, including intellectual property rights, of a third party. You indemnify Fairfax Media and its related bodies corporate in respect of any breach of the foregoing warranty. You must not submit images that:

a) are defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or otherwise unlawful;

b) contain excessively violent or sexual imagery;

c) include an image of a person or persons unless you have their consent; or

d) contain a nude or semi nude person aged 16 years or under.

Your personal information is collected by Fairfax Media in accordance with Fairfax Media's Privacy Policy. Your personal information may be used to contact you about photographic events and activities that we reasonably believe you might be interested in.
