Running from April 18 to 22, the "national" is now in its 53rd year.
There will also be a children's festival, themed bars, food and market stalls, roving entertainment and an engaging, multi-discipline arts program including craft, dance and art.
Here's five things not to miss
For the family
Kidzfest is curated especially for the little ones. With circus shows, magic and mischief, the kids will be kept well entertained. Check out The Vegetable Plot, an award-winning live music act that has been spreading its funky roots all over Australia. Join Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney for a ride on the soil train.
Foodie finds
With five different bars and numerous food stalls, there are plenty of options to refuel in between the performances. Eat your way around the world with Asian, Italian and Greek options, or check out Wafflemania or the Chillato pop-up gelato bar for dessert.
Dance like nobody's watching
There's a huge range of dance workshops to attend, including belly dancing, Morris dancing and step-dance with musician and dancer April Verch. There's a swing dance on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 6pm. And don't miss the tango lessons at 7pm, Saturday.
Sing like nobody's listening
Join in the festival street choirs with Strange Weather Gospel Choir, Sweet Mona's Choir and Ukestral Voices as they share their stage favourites in the marquee at 5pm on Saturday. They'll sing you through some world music songs that will have you grooving along and you'll also be a part of the show, learning harmonies so you can join in for a big sing on the finale.
Aussie legends
John Schuman and Shane Howard are two of the most influential singer/songwriters in Australia. Schuman is his best known for his leadership of Redgum and his Vietnam veterans' anthem I was only 19. Howard is best known for his leadership of Goanna and his powerful and evocative statement on behalf of Indigenous Australia Solid Rock. These two blokes have recorded together on a number of occasions, now they unite on stage for Songs for Times Like These. Sunday 7pm. Monday 1pm.
