New capital spending for 2012-13 accounts for approximately $200 million of that overall figure.
Significant infrastructure projects outlined in the 2012-13 ACT Budget include a $17 million Uriarra Road upgrade, $5 million expansion of social housing and almost $20 million for the continued extension of the Mugga Lane landfill.
Treasurer Andrew Barr said the works would provide necessary support the economy and drive productivity.
The government will release 19,500 sites for new homes over the next four years, with 5000 sites to be released in the coming financial year.
New homes in Molonglo and Gungahlin will supported by $119 million of infrastructure spending over the next four years.
This will include work on Horse Park Drive and design work for the Cotter Road duplication.
