The prospect of playing for the Junior Matildas was merely a dream for Canberra United Academy's Mia McGovern six days ago.

But the 15-year-old is now hastily packing her bag and heading into camp ahead her first international tour in the green-and-gold jersey.
McGovern has been named in Rae Dower's 23-strong squad, joining Gungahlin United star Emma Ilijoski for the Junior Matildas' historic tour of the Pacific. It's the first Australian team to visit the region since the Socceroos in 2005.
The Junior Matildas will tour Tonga, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands and take on their under-19's national teams next week.
Their selection comes after the duo put on strong performances in front of national selectors at the NTC Challenge, with Ilijoski earning Capital Football's player of the tournament award.
"It's been a whirlwind of a week as I was only informed last Saturday," McGovern admitted.
"Being exposed to international football is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
"Football is my passion and something I want to go further in. I'm hoping to develop my game further and be recognised at a national level."

Dower's squad will use the Pacific tour as preparation for the under-16 Asian Championships in September.
Ilijoski, who is set to embark on her third Junior Matildas tour, believes the short turn-around will help prepare players for when they "make it big-time".
"The Asian Championships and qualifying for the [under-17's] World Cup is my ultimate goal but we need to focus on this tour first," Ilijoski said.
"It's definitely some form of preparation with different conditions and adapting to different styles of play. It's also cool to promote the game as junior players because you don't see that very often.
"I want to keep being an ambassador for the sport and be selected in national teams. The Matildas is my ultimate goal."
Centre-back Jaide Trewin from Canberra United Academy has also been called into the training camp as a standby player.
Meanwhile Tigers FC have shifted their focus to claiming the minor premiership after they crashed-out of the FFA Cup on Wednesday.
Cooma have to win two of the remaining matches to secure the title but reigning champions Canberra FC are hoping to spoil their dream run when they clash at Nijong Oval on Sunday.
The clubs have been inseparable so far this season, drawing 1-1 in round seven before their Federation Cup final progressed into penalties.
Canberra coach Luka Ujdur is confident heading into their round-15 clash with a full complement.
"I'm extremely confident. It's not that we haven't been able to defeat them or get points on the board, we played better than them both times," Ujdur said.
"We've had ample opportunities but we didn't put them away but that has been our season this year. It's creating pressure on our back-line as a result of us not taking those chances.
"But we're firing, buoyant and have a full complement. I think we've done enough work this week to prepare for Cooma.
"We haven't been able to translate how well we've been training into a game and if that happens between now and the top-four then I think we'll be a formidable group. Cooma, Tuggeranong and Gungahlin are going to struggle to break us down."
