More than 100 years after he first bridged the political divide to form a coalition government, former South Australian premier Tom Price again managed to unite both sides of politics.

Premier Steven Marshall and Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas joined descendants of Mr Price for the unveiling of a plaque in his honour at Brownhill Creek Recreation Park, south of Adelaide.
Originally a stonecutter, Mr Price became the state's first Labor premier when he formed a Labor-Liberal coalition government in 1905, and remained in the role until his death in 1909 aged 57.
Ron Bellchambers, the community liaison officer for Brownhill Creek Association, said Mr Price drove significant progress within the state.
"His social and economic reforms represented a major change in political direction for South Australia," he said.
"(They led to) free secondary schooling, better working conditions, a minimum wage and strong support for small business and farmers.
"He was also a local resident of Hawthorn and made a significant difference to the local community, regularly visiting local schools as minister for education to inspire and motivate students."
Now the site of an avenue of plane trees, Mr Price planted the first plane tree at Brownhill Creek in 1908.
