After convincing best mate Elissa Blowes to try her hand at Australian rules earlier this year, it was then Primrose's turn to switch codes.
"We have been trying to get each other all season to take up one another's sport," Primrose said.
"With three games to go I got her to play AFL and she made her seniors debut after only her second game and then she was like, well it's your turn.
"With three games left she got me on to the league park and that worked out so well, as I am going into my fourth game on Sunday and that's the grand-final.
"Next season I am going to come back, I want to work on my skills, and I want to develop further."
The Bushpies were formed this year as a joint venture between to the Tuggeranong Bushranger's and the Yass Magpies' as numbers were down in 2020 for both clubs.
They've dropped just two games in 2020 en route to the Katrina Fanning Shield decider and were also able defeat the previously undefeated Blues last weekend.
But Bushpies captain Eilish Winbank said two earlier losses to the Blues were still in the back of her mind.
"[I am] pretty nervous, I have been thinking about it all week," Winbank said.
"But I think it is going to be a good game either way, it could honestly go to either side. We just need to do the simple things right."
