A sugar levy would be an investment in the health of our nation and its people, says James Muecke

Dr James Muecke spoke to the National Press Club on Tuesday about Australia being let down by "flawed" national dietary guidelines and a lack of understanding from experts about type 2 diabetes. He supports a sugar tax, but said diet is key to preventing or reversing type 2 diabetes. He's a piece he wrote for Australia Community Media back in August.
