The Moscow apartment of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny has been searched by masked men in uniforms, the imprisoned opposition leader's team has written on Twitter.

In addition, one of the family's flats, an apartment where Navalny's wife was staying and a studio for filming the internet program Navalny Live were among the places searched, associates Ivan Zhdanov and Lyubov Sobol said.
The forces broke down the door of the family flat while Navalny's brother Oleg was still inside there.
It was unclear on what basis the raids were carried out, Zhdanov said.
Navalny's organisation fights against corruption and has repeatedly endured searches and confiscation of its computers.
This month, Navalny's team released a video titled A Palace for Putin, claiming to show that the long-standing leader has built a "tsarist empire" on the Black Sea funded by bribes.
The video has been seen more than 95 million times since its release.
Putin has said that he has nothing to do with the billion-dollar property and the Kremlin has dismissed the film as nonsense.
Navalny returned to Russia earlier this month after receiving treatment in Germany following an assassination attempt with the nerve agent Novichok.
The 44-year-old was immediately detained upon his arrival and sentenced to 30 days of pre-trial detention.
Thousands of people have since taken to the streets across Russia to protest for Navalny's release and more than 3700 people were detained by security forces over the weekend.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, the Russian investigative website The Insider reported that the same Russian intelligence agents accused by Navalny of attempting to poison him are allegedly involved in other assassinations.
The Insider's report purports to prove that the men were involved in the murders of a journalist, an activist and an opposition politician in Russia in 2014, 2015 and 2019.
Russian officials said Timur Kuashev, Ruslan Magomedragimov and Nikita Isayev died of natural causes.
The Insider reporters say there is evidence that representatives of the Russian domestic intelligence service FSB were in the vicinity of their alleged victims around the times of death.
The Insider cites telephone and travel data, among other evidence.
In mid-December, investigative journalists accused those same intelligence agents of being behind the attempted murder of Navalny.
