Russell Crowe's film Poker Face is expected to also star Liam Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.
Filming has been taking place this week at Pebble Cove Farm, located on the coastal headland.
This isn't the first time the Kiama Heights property has been utilised as a location for a Hollywood movie.
The hit film The Invisible Man, starring Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss and released in 2020 had interior scenes filmed at the Pebble Cove Farm.
The property last sold in September 2015 for $7,300,000.
In 2001, renowned Australian architect Philip Thalis was enlisted to design a private residence on the 38.12-hectare oceanfront property.
Businesswoman Kerry Moran had commissioned the residence, but construction was delayed for several years due to the global financial crisis.
IN OTHER NEWS:
By 2009, work on the palatial home halted, and the unique house was left empty.
The residence was half-complete when it was listed for $7.5 million in May 2015.
Sitting at the end of a mountain ridge protectively nestled into the hillside, the residence is constructed in a V-shape around a sheltered courtyard, pool and sprawling garden.
The residence offers views up and down the coast.
Living areas face the ocean towards the east while the master and children's accommodation wings shelter the courtyard space on the northern and southern sides.
At the time of its listing in 2015, the marketing material said the property "awaits a new owner to complete the interior fit-out, selecting finishes to suit their taste".
The current owners finished the extensive works required inside the property.

Details of the buyer were not revealed in 2015, and current records don't include information on the current owner.
The Mercury attempted to contact the owner via email, but were unsuccessful.
