A Canberra man was Tasered while "violently" resisting arrest and injured officers after he allegedly tried to dodge police while breaching the lockdown, police say.

ACT Policing said officers spotted a dark coloured Audi in Charnwood about 10.30pm.
The car "appeared to actively be avoiding them by turning off its headlights before proceeding in the wrong direction around the roundabout at the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Florey Drive", they said in a statement.
"A short time later police stopped the vehicle in Cartwright Street, Charnwood and attempted to speak to the driver. The driver refused to answer questions and refused to participate in a roadside screening test for alcohol."

Police said they tried to arrest the 20-year-old man and he "violently resisted" when they tried to get him out the car.
"After a significant struggle, the man was eventually subdued following the use of a Taser," he said.
"Two officers received minor injuries in the struggle including a dislocated finger, cuts and abrasions."
They said the man injured a third officer when he kicked the door of the caged vehicle as it was being opened.
Police said the man was being charged with multiple offences including assaulting a frontline community service provider, obstruct inga territory official, refusing to undergo a roadside screening test, damaging commonwealth property, being an unlicenced driver, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, negligent driving, and driving with false plates.
"As the man was a resident of Fisher and had no lawful reason to be in Charnwood, he was also charged with failing to comply with a health direction," they said.
He was expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday.
